After three consecutive years of leading tours for the Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference, Colonial Tours continues to provide exciting and informative programs for our conference attendees. As a meeting planner for a conference that returns to Williamsburg each year, keeping the programs fresh and exciting is always a challenge for me. I am grateful to you for your assistance in creating more interesting and enriching programs each year.
Our retired members now ask for you by name in planning their event and the stories from your previous tours to Norfolk and Jamestown are still being told. This year’s Civil War tour was a highlight and I am particularly impressed that some of the tour participants were so intrigued by your presentation that they chose to go back to the site on their own and do more research. I also appreciate the care you have taken to insure the comfort of the few attendees with limited mobility.
Your popularity with the group continues to grow now that individual families within the conference group have experienced your ghost/lantern walk. Your personable presentation combined with your knowledge of the local history and “you are there” perspective made it fun for everyone.
